Brighten someone’s day!
We are pleased to carry an array of beautiful artful greeting cards by our board member Rosemary Juskevich. Take the time to give a set of cards or send a card of support to someone who is facing cancer, to someone who is need of encouragement and support.
Stop at our office at 1701 Main, Ste. C, anytime between 10-4 pm, Mon-Thurs to purchase. Package of 3/$10. All proceeds support CSC Southwest Colorado.
Artist’s Statement
The paternal side of my family carries a genetic error that causes a hereditary condition known as Lynch Syndrome. My grandfather and father both died from bowel cancer. My brother survived bowel cancer, two of my sons had cancer, and I have had uterine, bowel and pancreatic cancer.
Creating is therapeutic and healing for me. Art shifts my focus away from my concerns and worries. I have a sense of control — I make decisions freely. I can relax and enjoy the moment.
